Q: Is TAGWAY Action Game safe?
A: Absolutely. This is safe and more player friendly then the Paintball. There is no danger, no pain and bruises, no hot overalls and no sweaty mask.
Q: How the TAGWAY combat equipment work?
A: Each Player carries a Tagger (stylised as various types of combat weapon). In the TAGger an inbuilt Radio Transmitter/Receiver receives the game parameters (type of weapon, features, ammo type, clips, game time, etc.). These parameters govern what power and value a player has to the over all team. During the game data is relayed back to the central control to monitor players actions and scores. These can be viewed on strategically located information points. Further, this data is relayed back to each player so they are aware of their status within the game.
Q: Where are the hit sensors located?
A: Each TAGger has receivers so that this is a target. In addition players can wear body and head targets. Many different scenerios use the type and quantity of targets to change the nature a specific players role and their difficulty in getting hit.
Example........... a player with no body targets would be designated as a secret agent - often they are programmed with only one re-incarnation shield. Therefore, it is highly likely that they could be knocked out of the game quickly if they are too exposed to opposition.
Q: How does TAGWAY prevent cheating?
A: Each TAGger has receivers so that this is a target. In addition players can wear body and head targets. Many different scenerios use the type and quantity of targets to change the nature a specific players role and their difficulty in getting hit.
Q: What is the minimum & maximum amount of players?
A: Generally a TAGWAY event is better with more people, but a good game can be arranged with as little as four (4) players. Each center can support up to 40 players in any one game so very large groups can be accomodated.
Q: How many days in advance I have book an event?
A: TAGWAY venues vary in their features and demand. The rule of thumb is book a couple of weeks before your event as you need the time to organise your collegues and we need the time to get the invitation packs out to your guests with venue maps, etc. Those locations with many different activity and entertainment options tend to get booked at weeks and sometimes months in advance. A few centres offer 'LAST MINUTE' booking discounts - generally filling up weekend available slots - but these are limited.
Q: How long does an event last?
A: Most TAGWAY events are two to four hours. We can accomodate full day events and even long weekend events if your group is so inclined. Generally an event is made up of four (4) or more skirmish combats. If you have booked extra activities (like helicopters, bungee or vehicle driving) these can either be inter-mixed with your event scenerio, or done before or after the main TAGWAY skirmish.
Q: Can we extend the time of almost finished event?
A: Often on site you can purchase some additional games during or just after their session.
Q: When I play TAGWAY do I get hurt like in Paintball or Airsoft?
A: No - the main difference between TAGWAY and paintball or airsoft combat games is that there is NO physical bullet (projectile) to hit and hurt you plus NO environmental mess like paint and plastic debris. Each TAGWAY marker has a electronic vibration to startle the player and let them know they have been hit and therefore lost some life.
Q: Will our event be called off for rain or bad weather?
A: No - the TAGWAY event can still be run in wet conditions. Players will be issued foul weather tunics for them and their markers.
